Other than the traditional Wedding Candle, (or Unity Candle) that is personalised with the first name of both the Bride and the Groom and the date of the wedding, we now offer Family / Ceremony Sets that include two additional candles to complete the set of three, one personalised with the family name of the Bride, the other with family name of the Groom alongside the Unity Candle. The three candles represent the two families together with the Bride and Groom. Family Sets may also be used in the "Candle Ceremony", which is another lovely idea that has the added benefit of involving one or both parents (or brothers or sisters) from both families in the lighting of the candles, either at the ceremony or just before the cutting of the cake at the reception. Bonbonniere candles, most often a smaller gift candle, may also be personalised and may be offered to guests or to the bridal party or the parents of the Bride and Groom. They can be made to match the unity candle and the colour theme of the wedding. |
